The Taylor Moxey Library was created by converting a shipping container into a fun, safe, outdoor library. The project is the brainchild of Taylor Moxey, an 11 year old girl. Taylor Moxey is an entrepreneur, author and philanthropist. She started her first business with a $40.00 loan from her parents. Her cupcake company has allowed her to bake with some of the world's most popular chefs and has opened the doors for Taylor to help others. A percentage of sales from her cupcakes and book, "The Adventures of Taylor the Chef", has been used to equip children locally, nationally and internationally through the Taylor Moxey Foundation.
Taylor's first library was achieved by converting a small lawn trailer into a house of learning with books, games and electronics. The library was donated to help children in the town of Andros in the Bahamas. She has been honored for her philanthropy with the 2015 President's Voluntary Service Award as well as Miami Dade County's Proclamation of August 18 "Taylor Moxey Day"
