The Taylor Moxey Foundation was created to empower, educate and endow young girls and boys with the tools necessary for them to become civic minded entrepreneurs and leaders. With the understanding that philanthropy isn't simply writing a check but it is solving a problem, the Taylor Moxey Library was created.
The Taylor Moxey Library has touched the lives of children and adults locally, nationally and internationally through the Taylor Moxey Library Systems, which repurposes and converts shipping containers into creative, safe and fun libraries. Taylor has opened two libraries, one in the small village of Moxey Town in Andros Bahamas and one in the new Omni Park located in downtown Miami, Florida. Taylor's foundation has also partnered with TECHO to build a small home for poor in Latin America and Haiti. Taylor has used her platform, voice and passion as a public speaker to advocate and encourage her peers to become community engaged participants.
Taylor has been honored for her philanthropy with the 2015 President's Voluntary Service Award as well as August 18th being proclaimed as "Taylor Moxey Day" in Miami Dade County.
